A tree hunting we will go

 Yesterday the kids and I headed into the wild blue yonder with my brother to hunt us a Christmas tree.  My brother has been hunting his tree for 10 or 12 years in true redneck fashion - with a gun - and last year we were finally invited to the club!

We have been socked in with fog in town all week but we managed to get above it yesterday and the view was stunning plus we found snow which made the kids happy!  

 Time to build a fire and roast some smokies!

 We found the perfect Christmas tree!  I only pose with guns, I don't shoot them so my brother had the honor of taking down the kill.

She's a beaut!

Once the boy comes home from his dad's its time to get down to the business of decorating it!  That's good for a couple F bombs and redistribution of decorations once the kids aren't looking :)
